Drawing Finger Labyrinths.

In this video we learn how to draw a finger labyrinth. We did this earlier in the school year and students really enjoyed it. Before "walking" your finger labyrinth, take a few deep breaths in and a few long, slow breaths out. Balance the inhale with the exhale in length, sound and strength.

When you feel centered, trace your finger through the maze of the labyrinth, trying to stay focused on just that. If your mind wanders, bring it back to the activity at hand. (no pun intended!) Perhaps set an intention for your finger "walk"-- patience, compassion, humor, perspective-- are all good intentions during this time of quarantine.

Decorating your labyrinth is fun too. If ever throughout your day you feel like you or someone in your family needs a break, hand them the finger labyrinth and encourage them to "take a walk."
